Birthday Weekend

Well, we have made it through our second birthday of the year. For those of you who do not know we have a birthday every month from February through May including our anniversary in May. So, after the 9th of May we don't have anything else for the rest of the year. It is a little crazy, but hey that is us. For Miss Gaby's birthday we took them to the aquarium in Sandy. We have been before, but they have added a south america wing with alligators, frogs, an electric eel, and really big fish...we won't talk about the snakes. It was a blast. Garrett actually touched a stingray this time and loved it. Gaby picked up a sea urchin. It really was fun. On Tuesday the kids and I drove up to Bountiful to meet Collins aunt MeChel, Krishel, and Kenya for lunch. We went to Applebees and had a blast. Gaby and Kenya always hang on each other...it is adorable. They don't see each other often enough. After lunch we stopped by Uncle Mikes to see the snake and steal his meat. When we got home we picked up dad and ordered pizza. Pizza is my kids favorite food. Their love of pizza probably comes from the fact that I craved it like crazy while I was pregnant with both of them. That evening Grandpa & Grandma Karlson came over and so did Michael. We had a princess cake and pink ice cream...all Gaby. Gaby got lots of clothes and a new tea set that has been used a great deal since she opened it. It was fun to have the small group that we had here to celebrate. The next day we went to the doctor for a check up and low and behold Gaby weighs in at 28 lbs.....finally. We have struggled to get her above 25 and keep her there. We love our new doctor. Things are good and the weekend was awesome. Missing family, but can't complain about the great weather.
