Merrill Christmas Weekend

This weekend has been a lot of fun. On Wednesday Collins' cousin Carter got home from his mission in Zimbabwe. On Friday we went and finished all of our Christmas shopping. We did attempt to drive up to Park city... that was ridiculous. There was a terrible snow storm and we ended up turning around and going to Southtown to shop. When we finally made it home and got the kids to bed Collin and I spent the rest of the evening wrapping all of our presents.

Saturday we headed up to Ogden. Aunt MeChel's family borrowed a friends home at Wolf Mountain for us to stay at and have our annual Christmas party. While driving up the canyon the snow started again. Lucky for us Collin is a great driver and our car did amazing driving up the hill. The cabin was amazing it was a million dollar home with all the amenities. We finally got to see Carter and all the family. It was great. We had a fun party and ate lots of food.

Today we drove back to Ogden for Carters report on his mission and more time with family. Carters report was amazing he talked about standing as a witness even in fear. After the report we went over to MeChels for food. There were so many people. We had a great time. It was fun to get to see all of Collin's family.

Big news for Collin's family his little sister Shalay and her husband announced that they are expecting a baby in July. That makes four babies for next year. Devrie in April, Krishel in May, Lindsie in June, and Shalay in July. So far they are all having boys. We are very excited for them.

We are headed to Idaho this week for Christmas and the holidays. We are excited to get to spend more time with family and friends. Collin is also in need of a break and then he can hit the books or rather the labs.
