West Yellowstone

This is Garrett and Gaby on the back of a train behind the Yellowstone Museum.























The painted buffalo are all over West Yellowstone. We loved walking around in West. There is a great candy shop with a taffy puller that the kids thought was great. There is also a grizzly and wolf center, but we didn't go in because they charge way to much money.

Big Springs Trail

By the cabin is a place where the water bubbles up out of the ground and runs together with tons of streams they call it Big Spring. There is a great trail and a little cabin that they have preserved and they give tours at. We walked the trail and checked out the cabin. While we were driving around we ran into the moose pictured below. She didn't want her picture taken considering she kept running away from us.

Smores at the Cabin

After the 4th of July Collin and I took our kids up to his grandparents cabin at Island Park. This was our kids first experience with smores....they loved them. We had a great time making a sticky mess.

H20 Skiing with Family

So, over the 4th of July we did a lot. We headed to Idaho to hang out with my family. My sister Jenn and her family came in from Oregon; Michael came from New Mexico; and Patrick came from Boise. We had Lerin's bridal shower. We had a BBQ in my mom's backyard. We made teriyaki kabobs...they were amazing. Michael saved us over and over with taking the nephews everywhere with him and then showing up when we needed to cook on the grill. Lerin got a lot of great stuff to start out her married life. Last summer my parents decided to upgrade their boat. It was a huge thing with out family. We love being on the boat. For my dad's birthday all of us kids went in on a huge tube for the boat. We had so much fun. The pictures on the boat were from a couple of trips out on the boat. After our time with family over the fourth Collin, the kids, and I headed to Island Park to the Merrill cabin. I love spending time with my family. It has been a long time since we have been together...it was great.
