Trunk or Treat
Well, I guess Halloween is definately on it's way. Our ward did our trunk or treat last night with a chili cookoff, and games. Garrett was a pirate; thanks to aunt Lerin who made the costume. Gabrielle was Tinkerbell. It was a lot of fun. After the party Collin and I got a night out. Its been a while. Grandma Jane saved us with tickets to a play and an offer to babysit. The play was at the Valley Center Playhouse in Pleasant Grove, Utah. We got to watch a Halloween comedy. Afterwards we went to have cheesecake. It was a much needed nightout for me...a little adult time without the kid interruption that I get all the time.

Just Another Week
So about the only thing that's really happened this week is that we all got haircuts. Well, Collin got a haircut, Gaby got her bangs trimmed, and Annie got a WHOLE NEW STYLE!! It looks great. I won't tell you about it here, hopefully Annie will post some pics so you can see.
We also attended our new ward for the first time...It's always interesting to try out a new ward. So far it seems that it will be good. At least, there are a few older couples in the ward instead of a whole bunch of undergrads working the meat market. Surprisingly, when we got to sacrament meeting, they announced us to the ward...Never had a ward be so on the ball before. It was a little creepy. Oh, and it looks like Annie made a friend. She came up to Annie after Relief Society and said, "Please tell me you're older than twenty-five." Apparently she's tired of the undergrad crowd too.
Stats still sucks. I won't go into all that, but needless to say, I hate it. Luckily I'm over halfway done. I did get to do some lab work--finally. And I got to watch a brain extraction from a rat. Let me tell you, that was AWESOME!! I'm probably the only one who thinks that's cool, but I can live with that.
Until next week, same Bat time, same Bat channel...

Our new BIG apartment
Garrett likes to call our new house "The BIG House," because we live on the third floor. What fun that was to carry everything up the stairs. Thankfully Michael and Lerin moved us. Michael even hurt his back moving us; check out his x-rays on his facebook page...it's cool. Life is good. Gaby has discovered shoes and how much she loves them; mainly mine. Garrett is bored and wants to be outside all the time... the playground is right out our door and he stares at it all day. Collin is a little overwhelmed with all that he is doing. He runs from 8am until 10pm. If he isn't in class or lab he is teaching or tutoring classes. He is running labs at BYU and at Provo College. To say he is loving it is an understatement. My life constists of the same thing. I take care of the kids and the house. Having a smaller living space is a challenge, but it is easier to keep clean considering I clean everyday. We miss our ward and family, but love being away too. This is a great thing for us. Also, the snow is on it's way. We woke this moring to snow on the roofs and flurries in the air. Gotta love it. Our new address: 1077 West 1290 South Apt. 4-1077 Orem, Ut 84058. We are keeping the same phone numbers.
